The highlight of the day? Deciding to start a blog! I've been racking up pictures, ideas and words to put this together and here it finally is! The goal is to post daily through the series called 'What the...today' and provide the key highlights of the day. A digital scrapbook for my future self if you will.
No major occurrence, just planned for Dave's (or rather, Hazmat's) bachelor party and found a great Groupon we can't wait to try out...28 dirt grippin' miles on an ATV for 3 hours through the Vegas desert!
The search for a digital camera to capture Las Vegas Lunacy 2011 is on! Checked out a few models but couldn't quite find a small camera with image stabilization, more than 4x zoom and a decent price yet...argh so many wants so little $!
Dinner was sushi at a pretty cool joint in Hamden. Neglecting my pride I decided to order the Sweetheart roll...yeah yeah say what you want about its name but you can't beat avocado, tuna and salmon all in one roll!
You can't beat it...until you realize they shape the darn things like hearts! FAIL! Nothin' smoother than sitting there while the waitress brings a plate of heart-shaped goodness to you and says "see how pretty?"

Let's forget about how grainy the pics are since the restaurant likes to keep it dark enough so you can barely see what you're eating...but yes I'm also trying to use this blog as another excuse to get a decent small point-and-shoot digital!
