Summer is here! After a bone chilling winter with enough snow to fill the Grand Canyon we're now at a mere 93 degrees. Productive members of society are bunkering down in air-conditioned offices, kids off for the summer are running to the pool...and pups are dancing at the opportunity to get dog ice cream!

The temperature in the house is bad enough to remind of the CSI episode with the Swamp Cooler -- you know, 1 fan + 1 giant ice cube = home made air conditioning. On the positive side, the heat must have triggered the social side of my brain since I just reversed years of opposition and finally gave into Twitter!
Things are only going to get crazier now that my camera is finally...oh wait, almost here! Two more excruciating days before I can rescue my package from the clutches of UPS and say goodbye to blurry-cam posts on the blog!
Time to sign off for now, I've been so mesmerized by the "Next Food Network Star" that this post has taken me waaaay too long!
